Irma Jennings, INHC, Holistic Bone Coach, cultivated her passion for and earned her certification in integrative nutrition and health from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2003.

Continued studies with extraordinary "Food as Medicine” teachers around the world in India, Bali, Costa Rica, and Thailand fed her insatiable love for the healing qualities of food.

Inspired by her diagnosis of osteopenia in 2005, she used "food as medicine" and lifestyle changes to strengthen her bones. She created Food for Healthy Bones™, a company committed to helping others turn a terrifying quality of life-threatening condition into the impetus to partner with food. Today, in her 70's, Irma's spine and hips have not become osteoporotic. Osteoporosis is in her forearm only.
